Server migration & infrastructure upgrade now underway

We’re excited to announce that Phase 1 of our big platform makeover is complete and that we’re now migrating to brand-new servers. Over the next few days we’ll switch everything over — bringing you a faster, safer and more reliable HeliumTracker.

Fewer bugs – an extensive new test suite now checks thousands of scenarios automatically. It has already uncovered and fixed a host of hidden issues.
Rock-solid reliability – new hardware plus smarter background processing mean fewer hiccups, even at peak times.
Extra-strong data protection – upgraded security keeps your wallet and personal data safe.
Hassle-free payments – premium receipts arrive instantly and payment processing is now bullet-proof.
A quick apology
In the run-up to this migration some users experienced issues such as incorrect hotspot online-status mails and hiccups with premium upgrades. We’re sorry for the inconvenience — these problems have already been identified and fixed.
What happens next?
Zero-downtime migration: you can keep using HeliumTracker as usual.
A short maintenance window (max 15 min) for the final DNS switch – we’ll share the exact time 24 h in advance.
No action required on your side – your hotspots, wallets and API keys stay exactly the same.
And Phase 2?
Phase 2 starts right after the migration: we’ll release an updated mobile app and continue our bug-hunting mission, tackling every remaining known issue and bringing more quality-of-life improvements you’ve requested.
